More than 40 years ago, bigHead® created a fastening solution that combined a perforated head welded to fastener fixings such as studs, nails, pins, hooks, etc. These solutions could be adhered to or molded into composite material creating a locking solution that had the same strength and efficiency of traditional fasteners.
Lightweight manufacturing engineers where running into the challenge of designing in carbon fiber panels without having a solution to seamlessly fasten them to their application discretely. So, they came up with a solution that allows you to bond a fasted head to the carbon fiber without drilling or riveting and destroying the material. bighead® specializes in adhesives which help give you the lightweight, secure and completely invisible look that you are looking for.
