Product Description
The B-M6-1ZI is a self-clinching blind nut designed to provide high-strength metric internal threads in thin metal sheets. The defining characteristic of this fastener is its closed-end (blind) design, which creates a physical barrier that protects internal components from screw penetration and seals the assembly against dirt, dust, and moisture. By containing the screw within the nut, it eliminates the risk of damage to sensitive circuitry or adjacent parts. Its self-clinching profile ensures high pushout and torque-out resistance, and because it is installed into a bottomed-out hole, the reverse side of the host sheet remains completely flush and smooth.
