The PEM® BSOS-440-14 is a highly reliable, unified blind threaded standoff designed to create secure internal spacing inside thin sheet metal enclosures. Leveraging a proven self-clinching design, the fastener installs with a simple, standard squeezing force into a properly sized round hole, cold-flowing the host metal to form a permanent bond with excellent pullout and torque-out resistance. Thanks to its blind-threaded (closed) cavity, the opposite side of the metal sheet remains completely flush and unmarred, ensuring an unbroken exterior cosmetic finish while protecting internal threads from outside dust, air currents, and environmental contaminants.
