The PEM® BSOS-3.5M3-25 is an extra-long, high-performance blind threaded standoff engineered for applications requiring substantial vertical clearance inside thin-sheet metal structures. Utilizing a specialized self-clinching design, the fastener is permanently installed by applying a steady squeezing force into a properly sized round hole, preventing rotation or pullout without requiring welding or loose washers. Because it is a blind-threaded closed fastener, the exterior surface of the host sheet metal remains entirely flush and unmarred, creating a completely clean aesthetic while acting as a barrier against dust and moisture. Manufactured from rugged 300 Series Stainless Steel, it provides excellent longevity and corrosion resistance across demanding settings, including advanced network switch cabinets, medical diagnostic devices, and complex industrial instrumentation.
