The PEM® BSOS-3.5M3-20 is a rugged, high-reliability blind threaded standoff designed for establishing secure structural offsets in thin-sheet chassis. Utilizing an advanced self-clinching design, the fastener is pressed into a round hole with a steady squeezing force, becoming a permanent part of the host panel with high torque-out and pushout resistance. Its blind-threaded configuration means the outer side of the panel remains completely flush and unmarred, which protects internal threads from environmental contaminants and seals the mounting point. Fabricated from high-grade 300 Series Stainless Steel, it delivers excellent corrosion protection, making it ideal for medical electronics, server enclosures, and demanding automotive instrumentation applications.
