The PEM® BSOS-3.5M3-16 is a high-performance blind threaded standoff designed for secure component spacing in thin sheet metals. Utilizing a proven self-clinching design, this fastener installs seamlessly with a simple squeeze into properly sized round holes, becoming a permanent and integral part of the host chassis. Because it features a blind-threaded closed design, the outer surfaces of the sheet metal remain entirely flush and unmarred, while simultaneously protecting the internal threads from contamination and sealing the attachment point. Manufactured from durable 300 Series Stainless Steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for demanding applications in electronics, medical, automotive, and data communications enclosures.
Self-Clinching Design: Installs permanently using a standard squeezing force, providing high pushout and torque-out resistance without the need for welding or additional loose hardware.
