CHA-032-12 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These aluminum concealed-head studs are uniquely engineered to provide high-strength, permanent mounting threads within thin metal sheets by locking the fastener head entirely inside a blind, milled hole. When installed using basic press compression, the displaced sheet material flows smoothly into the undercut, enabling the stud to securely handle substantial loads. Because the head remains anchored completely inside the panel thickness, the side of the metal sheet opposite the installation remains entirely smooth, unmarred, and flawlessly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases.

Concealed-Head Construction: Installs directly into a blind, milled hole so the reverse side of the panel sheet remains completely smooth, flush, and unblemished.

Hermetic Environmental Sealing: Leaves the external face of the panel fully closed and untouched, preventing any leakage or infiltration of dust, liquid, and air.
