CHC-032-8 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

The CHC-032-8 is a high-strength, concealed-head self-clinching stud manufactured by PennEngineering® (PEM®). This precision fastener provides a permanent, load-bearing external thread in thin metal panels by mounting securely into a milled blind hole. Because the head is locked completely within the cavity, the opposite side of the sheet remains perfectly smooth and unmarred, preserving a flawless exterior surface finish and optimal aesthetics. Fabricated from durable 300 Series Stainless Steel, this stud forms a secure, high-strength bond via the self-clinching process, delivering substantial load capacity and superior resistance to pushout and torque-out forces without the need for welding.
