CHA-440-6 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These aluminum concealed-head studs are expertly engineered to establish high-strength, permanent mounting within thin metal panels by securing the fastener head completely inside a blind, milled hole. When installed using basic press compression, the localized forces cause displaced panel material to flow smoothly into the undercut, enabling the lightweight stud to handle substantial loads. Because the head is anchored entirely inside the sheet thickness, the side of the metal panel opposite the installation remains completely smooth, unmarred, and flawlessly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases.
