CFHC-032-8 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These concealed-head studs are engineered to provide high-strength, permanent mounting within thin metal panels by securing the fastener head completely inside a blind, milled hole. When installed using a standard press, the localized compression forces displaced panel material to flow smoothly into the undercut, enabling the stud to handle substantial loads. Because the head is locked entirely inside the sheet thickness, the side of the metal panel opposite the installation remains completely smooth, unmarred, and flawlessly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases.

Concealed-Head Design: Installs directly into a blind, milled hole so that the reverse side of the panel sheet remains completely smooth, flush, and unblemished.

Environmental Sealing: Leaves the external face of the panel fully closed and untouched, preventing any leakage or infiltration of dust, liquid, and air.

High Load Performance: Utilizes a self-clinching undercut that locks under press compression to reliably support high pull-out and torque-out loads.

Streamlined Assembly: Easily and quickly pressed into place using any standard press equipped with a solid punch and a hollow anvil.
