CFHC-032-6 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These concealed-head studs are engineered to provide high-strength, permanent mounting within thin metal panels by anchoring the fastener head entirely inside a blind, milled hole. When installed using a standard press, the localized pressure forces displaced panel material to flow smoothly into the undercut, enabling the stud to handle substantial loads. Because the head is locked completely inside the sheet thickness, the side opposite the installation remains entirely smooth, unmarred, and flawlessly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases.

Concealed-Head Construction: Installs into a blind, milled hole so the reverse side of the sheet remains completely smooth, flush, and unblemished.

Environmental Sealing: Leaves the external face of the panel fully closed and untouched, preventing leakage or infiltration of dust, liquid, and air.

High Load Performance: Employs a self-clinching undercut that locks under press compression to successfully support high pull-out and torque loads.

Streamlined Assembly: Easily pressed into place using any standard press equipped with a solid punch and a hollow anvil.
