CFHC-M3-6 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These self-clinching studs are specifically engineered to provide a high-strength, permanent mounting solution in thin metal sheets while allowing the side opposite the installation to remain entirely smooth and unmarred. The fastener head locks securely inside a blind, milled hole, which enables the panel assembly to successfully satisfy strict ingress protection (IP) requirements by remaining completely sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases. When installed using standard press compression, the displaced panel material flows into the undercut to safely handle substantial loads.

Concealed-Head Design: Installs cleanly into a blind, milled hole so that the reverse side of the panel sheet remains completely flush, smooth, and unblemished.

IP-Standard Sealing: Keeps the opposite side of the sheet fully closed and untouched, preventing any infiltration of dust, liquid, air, or gases.

High Load Performance: Utilizes a self-clinching undercut that locks under press compression to reliably support high pull-out and torque loads.

Permanent Thread Integration: Quickly pressed into place using standard installation equipment to create robust, permanent external threads that will not loosen or back out over time.
