Product Description
The BS-0420-1 is a stainless steel self-clinching blind nut designed to provide high-strength internal threads in thin metal sheets. This fastener features a closed-end (blind) design, which acts as a protective barrier against dirt, dust, and moisture while simultaneously preventing screw penetration. By containing the screw within the nut, it protects sensitive internal components from damage caused by over-long hardware. Its self-clinching profile ensures high pushout and torque-out resistance, and because it is installed into a bottomed-out hole, the reverse side of the host sheet remains completely flush and smooth.
Closed-End Design: Seals the assembly against environmental contaminants and protects internal parts from screw damage.
Flush Rear Surface: Ensures the back side of the metal panel is smooth and unobstructed for aesthetic or clearance requirements.
