Product Description
The BSO-032-12ZI is a carbon steel self-clinching standoff designed to facilitate the permanent mounting and spacing of components in thin metal assemblies. Featuring a blind-threaded design, this fastener provides a closed-end barrier that effectively seals the internal threads from contaminants and prevents screw penetration beyond the standoff length. This protects sensitive internal electronics from mechanical damage. Utilizing self-clinching technology, the fastener is squeezed into a round hole, where it becomes an integral part of the chassis with high torque-out and pushout resistance, while maintaining a completely flush and smooth finish on the exterior side of the host sheet.
