Product Description
The BSO-032-16ZI is a heat-treated carbon steel standoff designed to provide permanent, high-strength threads and spacing in thin metal assemblies. Featuring a blind-threaded design, the fastener provides a closed-end barrier that effectively seals the internal threads, preventing screw penetration and protecting internal components from mechanical damage or debris. Its self-clinching technology allows the standoff to be squeezed into a round hole, where it becomes an integral part of the chassis with superior pushout and torque-out resistance. Finished with clear zinc plating, it ensures a completely flush and smooth appearance on the reverse side of the host sheet.
