The BSO-3.5M3-5ZI is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff designed to provide permanent, high-strength threads in thin metal sheets. Using the proven PEM self-clinching design, these fasteners are installed with a simple squeeze in properly sized round holes, becoming an integral part of the assembly. The blind-threaded (closed-end) design is a key feature that ensures the outer sheet surfaces remain flush and closed, protecting internal components from external contaminants and providing a clean, professional appearance. This model is manufactured from heat-treated carbon steel with a zinc plated finish for enhanced durability and performance in hardware applications.
