Product Description
The PEM® BSO4-3.5M3-22 is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff engineered specifically for permanent installation into stainless steel sheets. Fabricated from specially hardened 400 series stainless steel, this fastener is capable of clinching into host materials with hardness levels as high as HRB 88. Its closed-end (blind) design provides a solid barrier that seals the assembly against contaminants such as dust and moisture while protecting internal components by limiting screw penetration. When squeezed into a round hole using a standard press, the standoff becomes an integral part of the chassis, offering high pushout and torque-out resistance with a head that remains flush with the mounting surface for a streamlined exterior finish.
