The BSO4-M4-12 is a high-performance blind threaded standoff from PennEngineering® (PEM®), engineered specifically for installation into stainless steel sheets. Using PEM’s proven self-clinching design, this standoff is pressed into a properly sized round hole and becomes permanently captivated in the host material—providing strong, flush, and reliable threads where conventional fastening is not possible.
Designed for stainless steel sheets as thin as 1.02 mm, Type BSO4 standoffs deliver exceptional torque-out and pushout resistance, making them ideal for assemblies requiring durable spacing, stacking, or component mounting. With an M4 internal thread and a 12 mm length, the BSO4-M4-12 supports demanding applications across electronics, enclosures, industrial equipment, and precision fabrications.
