Product Description
The PEM® BSOS-032-10 is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff designed for permanent installation into steel or aluminum sheets. Manufactured from 300 series stainless steel, this fastener provides excellent corrosion resistanceand is ideal for applications requiring clean, durable performance. Its closed-end (blind) design creates a solid barrier that seals the assembly against contaminants such as dust and moisture while protecting internal components by limiting screw penetration. When squeezed into a properly sized round hole using a standard press, the standoff becomes an integral part of the chassis, offering high pushout and torque-out resistance with a head that remains flush with the mounting surface for a smooth exterior profile.
Corrosion Resistance: Fabricated from 300 series stainless steel to withstand harsh environmental conditions.
Environmental Sealing: The blind, closed-end construction prevents the passage of air, liquid, or debris through the mounting hole.
Flush-Mount Profile: Installs completely flush on the reverse side of the sheet for a clean, seamless exterior appearance.
