The CHC-440-4 is a precision-engineered concealed-head self-clinching stud manufactured by PennEngineering® (PEM®). Designed to provide permanent external threads in thin sheet metal panels, this fastener installs securely into a milled blind hole. By nesting the fastener head completely within the blind cavity, the opposite side of the sheet remains perfectly smooth and unmarred, ensuring flawless surface aesthetics and preserving exterior styling. Fabricated from high-quality 300 Series Stainless Steel, it delivers long-term corrosion resistance and creates a high-strength, permanent bond that reliably resists pushout and torque-out forces without the need for welding.
