Built to conform to stringent Military Specifications (MS21209), this insert creates high-strength, wear-resistant #8-32 UNC internal threads in lightweight parent metals such as aluminum and magnesium. Featuring internal resilient locking coils, it applies constant radial pressure to mating bolts to prevent rotational loosening caused by intense dynamic vibration and thermal shock, while the cadmium finish delivers exceptional corrosion resistance and lubrication.
