The PEM® BSOS-M3-14 is a high-performance self-clinching blind threaded standoff manufactured exclusively by PennEngineering® to establish strong, permanent internal threads in thin metal sheets. These metric fasteners install with a squeeze into properly sized round holes, using a self-clinching design that displaces host material to become permanently mounted in the sheet. When these blind-threaded standoffs are used, the outer sheet surfaces remain completely flush and closed. This ensures a smooth, unmarred exterior profile while creating an unbreached physical barrier that isolates internal components and the thread cavity from external dust, debris, and contaminants.
