CFHC-M5-16 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These self-clinching studs provide a high-strength, permanent mounting solution within thin metal panels while ensuring the side opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. By embedding the fastener head securely inside a blind, milled hole, this design allows the final panel assembly to satisfy strict ingress protection (IP) requirements, keeping it perfectly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases. When installed using standard press compression, the displaced sheet material flows smoothly around the head and into the undercut to successfully handle substantial loads.

Concealed-Head Profile: Anchors into a blind, milled hole so the reverse side of the panel sheet remains completely flush, pristine, and unblemished.
