CFHC-M4-16 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These self-clinching studs deliver a high-strength, permanent mounting solution within metal sheets while ensuring the side opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. By anchoring the fastener head securely inside a blind, milled hole, this product allows the final panel assembly to satisfy strict ingress protection (IP) requirements, remaining perfectly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases. When pressed into place, the displaced sheet material flows into the specialized undercut, ensuring the fastener can successfully handle substantial loads.

Concealed-Head Profile: Installs cleanly into a blind, milled hole so that the reverse side of the panel sheet remains completely flush, smooth, and unblemished.

Hermetic Environmental Sealing: Leaves the exterior face of the sheet fully closed and untouched, preventing any infiltration of air, liquid, dust, or gases.

High Load Capacity: Uses a self-clinching undercut design that locks under press pressure to reliably support significant pull-out and torque loads.
