CFHC-M4-12 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These self-clinching studs provide a robust, permanent mounting solution in metal sheets while ensuring the side opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. The fastener head locks securely inside a blind, milled hole, allowing the panel assembly to successfully satisfy strict ingress protection (IP) requirements by remaining entirely sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases. When installed using standard press compression, the displaced sheet material flows smoothly around the head and into the undercut to safely handle substantial loads.

Concealed-Head Design: Fits directly into a blind, milled hole so the reverse face of the panel stays completely smooth and flush.

IP-Standard Sealing: Keeps the opposite side of the sheet fully closed and untouched, preventing any infiltration of dust, liquid, air, or gases.
