Product Description
The CLS-1224-3 is a high-strength self-clinching nut manufactured by PennEngineering® (PEM®). Designed to provide permanent, load-bearing threads in ultra-thin metal panels, this fastener integrates seamlessly into standard sheet metal using a parallel squeezing force. This process causes panel material to cold flow directly into an undercut beneath the head, making the nut an inseparable part of the overall assembly. Fabricated from 300 Series Stainless Steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and delivers robust, reliable performance with high pushout and torque-out resistance for demanding engineering environments.
Permanent Clinching Hold: Becomes an integral, inseparable part of the thin sheet metal assembly without needing welding or additional installation hardware.
High Torque and Pushout Resistance: Provides a secure mechanical grip that effectively withstands significant structural and rotational loads without loosening.
Stainless Steel Construction:Fabricated entirely from 300 Series Stainless Steel to deliver reliable long-term corrosion resistance for clean application use.
Substantial Load Capacity: Offers a robust, high-strength internal thread to safely support and mount components inside thin sheet metal enclosures.
