Product Description
The CLS-256-2 is a premium self-clinching nut manufactured by PennEngineering® (PEM®). Designed to establish high-strength, load-bearing threads in thin metal panels, this fastener permanently integrates into standard sheet metal using parallel squeezing force. During installation, the host sheet metal cold flows directly into an undercut beneath the nut head, making the fastener an inseparable part of the overall panel assembly. Fabricated from 300 Series Stainless Steel, it delivers long-term corrosion resistance alongside high pushout and torque-out resistance, ensuring rigid structural integrity in demanding electronic and industrial enclosures.
Permanent Clinching Hold: Integrates seamlessly into the thin sheet metal panel using standard pressing force, completely eliminating the need for welding or additional mounting hardware.
High Torque and Pushout Limits:Creates a secure mechanical bond that effectively resists rotational and tensile forces under heavy operating conditions
Stainless Steel Construction: Fabricated from high-quality 300 Series Stainless Steel to provide reliable corrosion resistance and clean application performance.
Substantial Load-Bearing Capacity: Delivers high-strength internal threads within exceptionally thin materials to safely support attached hardware and components.
