The PEM® CSOS-632-5 is a precision-engineered concealed-head self-clinching standoff designed to create permanent internal threads for component mounting or spacing in thin metal fabrications. Formed from high-grade 300 Series Stainless Steel, this unified-threaded fastener delivers superior physical longevity and rugged corrosion resistance, making it an excellent solution for consumer electronics, medical instruments, and industrial enclosures. Because the fastener integrates seamlessly into a blind, milled hole, the exterior face of the host sheet opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. During installation using standard parallel pressing equipment, the host sheet metal cold-flows around the head into its undercut, providing immense load capacity and a clean aesthetic.
