The PEMSERT® Self-Clinching Flush Nut (Type F) by PennEngineering® (PEM®) is a high-performance stainless steel fastener designed to provide permanent, high-strength threads in thin metal sheets while maintaining a completely flush profile on both sides of the assembly.
The F-M5-2 variant is specifically engineered for thicker-walled applications compared to the "1" shank length. It is intended for use in sheets with a minimum thickness of 2.31 mm. Once installed, the hexagonal head is pressed into a round hole, displacing the host material into a clinching ring to ensure a secure, torque-resistant fit with no protrusions on either the top or bottom surface.
True Flush Finish: Sits entirely within the sheet thickness, ensuring zero protrusion on either side.
High Torque-Out Resistance: The hexagonal head design provides superior stability and prevents rotation under load.
Corrosion Resistance: Constructed from 300 Series Stainless Steel for durability in challenging environments.
Material Compatibility: Optimized for use in aluminum or cold-rolled steel sheets with a hardness of HRB 70 (HB 125) or less.
