Product Description
The PEMSERT® Self-Clinching Flush Nut (Type F) by PennEngineering® (PEM®) is a high-performance stainless steel fastener designed for applications where a completely flush finish is required on both sides of a thin metal sheet.
The F-M5-1 is specifically engineered for M5 threaded applications in sheets as thin as 1.5 mm. By utilizing a hexagonal head that is pressed into a round hole, the fastener displaces host material into a clinching ring, creating a permanent, high-strength thread that becomes an integral part of the assembly without any surface protrusion.
Dual-Side Flush Finish: Ensures an obstruction-free surface on both "top" and "bottom" sides of the sheet.
High Torque-Out Resistance: The hexagonal head design provides superior stability and prevents rotation under high rotational loads.
Corrosion Resistance: Manufactured from 300 Series Stainless Steel for long-term durability.
Material Compatibility: Designed for use in ductile materials such as aluminum or cold-rolled steel with a hardness of HRB 70 (HB 125) or less.
