The Heli-Coil® T1084-6E090 is a tangless, free-running wire thread insert precision-manufactured from Inconel X-750 with a dry film lubricant coating. Engineered to form permanent, high-strength 3/8-24 UNF fine internal threads in extreme high-temperature and demanding environments, its tangless design completely eliminates tang break-off and removal steps, accelerating assembly workflows while eliminating foreign object debris (FOD) risks. The high-nickel Inconel X-750 superalloy ensures exceptional oxidation resistance and thermal stability, while the dry film lubricant coating lowers insertion torque and prevents galling and thread seizing under high operational stress.
Tangless Wire Construction eliminates tang removal and vacuum retrieval steps, shortening assembly cycles and completely preventing foreign object debris (FOD) hazards.
