Precision-formed from cold-drawn 304 stainless steel wire with a distinctive diamond cross-section, this tanged insert automatically adapts to the thermal expansion and contraction profiles of the parent material. Featuring a streamlined free-running configuration, it allows smooth, uninhibited rotation of the metric male bolt until final clamping torque is applied. The specialized wire geometry maximizes cross-sectional thread contact to eliminate localized stress fatigue, supplying excellent stripping protectionand structural thread reinforcement in low-strength alloys.
