B-440-2ZI - Self-Clinching Blind Nut by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

The B-440-2ZI is a self-clinching blind nut engineered to provide high-strength internal threads in thin metal sheets. This fastener features a closed-end (blind) design, which serves as an effective barrier against dirt, dust, and moisture while simultaneously preventing screw penetration. By limiting the screw's travel, it protects sensitive internal components from damage caused by over-long hardware. The self-clinching profile provides excellent pushout and torque-out resistance, ensuring the fastener remains a permanent part of the assembly. Additionally, the installation process results in a completely flush and smooth finish on the reverse side of the host sheet.
