Product Description
The B-M3-2ZI is a self-clinching blind nut designed to provide high-strength metric internal threads in thin metal sheets. The primary advantage of this fastener is its closed-end (blind) design, which creates a physical barrier to protect internal components from screw penetration and seals the assembly against dirt, dust, and moisture. By containing the screw within the nut, it eliminates the risk of damage to sensitive circuitry or adjacent parts. Its self-clinching profile ensures high pushout and torque-out resistance, and because it is installed into a prepared hole, the reverse side of the host sheet remains completely flush and smooth.
Closed-End Protection: Barrier design prevents over-long screws from damaging internal components and seals out environmental contaminants.
Flush Rear Surface: The side opposite the installation remains smooth and unobstructed, ideal for aesthetic or clearance-critical applications.
Permanent Attachment: Becomes an integral part of the assembly once squeezed into place, eliminating the risk of loose or lost hardware.
