B-M6-2ZI - Self-Clinching Blind Nut by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

The B-M6-2ZI is a self-clinching blind nut engineered to provide high-strength metric internal threads in thin metal sheets. This fastener features a closed-end (blind) design, which creates a physical barrier that protects internal components from screw penetration and seals the assembly against dirt, dust, and moisture. By preventing screws from extending beyond the fastener, it eliminates the risk of damage to sensitive circuitry or adjacent parts. The self-clinching profile ensures the nut becomes a permanent part of the assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistance, while maintaining a completely flush and smooth finish on the reverse side of the host sheet.

Closed-End Protection: Barrier design prevents over-long screws from damaging internal components and seals out environmental contaminants.
