The B-832-2ZI is a self-clinching blind nut engineered to provide high-strength internal threads in thin metal sheets. This fastener is distinguished by its closed-end (blind) design, which creates a physical barrier to protect internal components from screw penetration and seals the assembly against dirt, dust, and moisture. By preventing screws from extending beyond the fastener, it eliminates the risk of damage to sensitive circuitry or adjacent parts. The self-clinching profile ensures the nut becomes a permanent part of the assembly with high torque-out and pushout resistance, while maintaining a completely flush and smooth finish on the reverse side of the host sheet.
