The PEM® BSO4-032-14 is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff specifically engineered for permanent installation into stainless steel sheets. Manufactured from specially hardened 400 series stainless steel, this fastener is capable of clinching into host materials with hardness levels up to HRB 88. Its closed-end (blind) design provides a solid barrier that seals the assembly against contaminants like dust and moisture while protecting internal components by limiting screw penetration. When squeezed into a round hole, the fastener becomes an integral part of the chassis, offering high pushout and torque-out resistance with a head that remains flush with the mounting surface for a streamlined exterior.
