The PEM® BSOS-032-12 is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff engineered for permanent installation into steel or aluminum sheets. Manufactured from 300 series stainless steel, this fastener offers exceptional corrosion resistancefor durable, long-term performance. Its closed-end (blind) design provides a solid barrier that seals the assembly against contaminants like dust and moisture while protecting internal components by limiting screw penetration depth. When squeezed into a round hole using a standard press, the standoff becomes an integral part of the host panel, providing high pushout and torque-out resistance with a head that remains flush with the mounting surface for a clean exterior finish.
