The PEM® BSOS-032-16 is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff designed for permanent installation into steel or aluminum sheets. Manufactured from durable 300 series stainless steel, this fastener delivers exceptional corrosion resistance for reliable performance in challenging environments. Its closed-end (blind) design provides a solid internal barrier that seals the assembly against contaminants like dust and moisture while protecting internal components by limiting screw penetration depth. When squeezed into a properly sized round hole using a standard press, the standoff integrates completely into the host chassis, providing high pushout and torque-out resistance with a head that remains flush with the mounting surface for a smooth, uniform exterior finish.
