The PEM® BSOS-832-24 is an extended-length, high-durability unified blind threaded standoff engineered to provide significant structural separation inside thin sheet metal assemblies. Utilizing a field-proven self-clinching design, the fastener drops easily into a properly sized round hole and installs permanently with a standard squeezing force, cold-flowing the host metal to achieve superior torque-out and pushout resistance without the thermal distortion or structural weaknesses of welding. Its blind-threaded (closed) cavity keeps the opposite side of the sheet metal completely flush and unmarred, creating a pristine cosmetic exterior while serving as a resilient, dust-tight barrier against environmental ingress. Manufactured from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, it delivers high structural durability and long-term corrosion protection, making it ideal for deep-stack server enclosures, medical instrumentation, telecommunications housings, and aerospace sub-assemblies.
Self-Clinching Mechanical Lock: Installs rapidly with a standard pressing action to eliminate loose secondary hardware, tapping, or the thermal stress of welding.
