Product Description
The CLS-832-0 is a high-performance self-clinching nut engineered by PennEngineering® (PEM®). Designed to establish strong, permanent, load-bearing threads in thin sheet metal panels, it installs efficiently using parallel squeezing force. During the installation cycle, the host metal cold flows directly into an undercut beneath the nut head, making the fastener an inseparable part of the overall panel assembly. Fabricated from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, it delivers long-term corrosion resistance and high pushout and torque-out resistance, making it ideal for robust structural joints in electronic enclosures and demanding industrial applications.
Permanent Clinching Hold: Integrates seamlessly into thin sheet metal panels using standard pressing force, completely eliminating the need for welding or loose hardware.
High Torque and Pushout Limits: Creates a secure mechanical bond that effectively resists rotational and tensile forces under heavy operating conditions.
Stainless Steel Construction: Fabricated from high-quality 300 Series Stainless Steel to provide reliable corrosion resistance and clean application performance.
Substantial Load Capacity: Supplies heavy-duty internal threading within thin-gauge materials, maximizing space utilization while securely mounting components.
