The PennEngineering® (PEM®) CLS-M2.5-0 is a high-precision self-clinching nut designed to provide permanent,load-bearing threads in ultra-thin sheet metals. Fabricated from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, this fastener delivers excellent corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties, making it an ideal choice for high-density consumer electronics, aerospace systems, and medical applications. When installed into a properly sized hole via parallel squeezing force, the parent sheet metal cold flows into the nut's special undercut, anchoring the hardware tightly into place as an integral part of the sheet. A specialized serrated clinching ring locks completely into the panel, providing superior pushout and torque-out resistance to prevent rotation or loose hardware during final product assembly.
