The PennEngineering® (PEM®) CLS-M2.5-2 is a premium self-clinching nut engineered to provide permanent, load-bearing threads in thin sheet metal panels. Fabricated from high-quality 300 Series Stainless Steel, this precision fastener offers outstanding corrosion resistance and is perfectly optimized for demanding applications in automotive electronics, datacom equipment, and medical enclosures. When installed into a properly prepared metric hole using a parallel squeezing force, the host panel material cold flows into the nut's special undercut, anchoring it as an integral part of the sheet. Combined with a specialized serrated clinching ring, this design delivers exceptional pushout and torque-out resistance, preventing the hardware from spinning or loosening during final product assembly.
