The PEM® CSOS-440-6 is a high-strength concealed-head self-clinching standoff designed to provide robust, permanent internal threads in thin metal sheets. Manufactured from durable 300 Series Stainless Steel, this unified-threaded fastener delivers exceptional physical strength and long-term corrosion resistance, making it ideal for medical electronics, marine instrumentation, and aerospace enclosures. Because the head locks into a blind, milled hole, the exterior side of the host sheet opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. Installed using a standard parallel squeezing force, the sheet material cold-flows around the head into the undercut, creating an integrated assembly with excellent load-bearing capacity while maintaining a flawless outer surface.
