The PEM® A4-M3-1 is a high-performance Floating Self-Clinching Nut specifically engineered for installation into stainless steel sheets. As part of the A4™ Series, this metric fastener provides permanent, load-bearing threads in thin panels where tapping is not structurally viable or practical.

The core advantage of this component is its internal "floating" nut element, which is held captive within a stationary retainer. This design allows for a total float of 0.76 mm, providing lateral adjustment to compensate for mating hole misalignment.
