The BSO-M3-22ZN is a self-clinching blind threaded standoff designed for permanent installation in thin metal sheets. Using a standard squeeze action, the fastener is pressed into a round hole, causing the sheet material to cold-flow into the clinching profile for high torque-out resistance. The blind-thread (closed-end) design is a vital feature, ensuring that the outer sheet surface remains flush and closed, providing a clean, unmarred appearance while effectively sealing the assembly against the ingress of environmental contaminants. This model is manufactured from heat-treated carbon steel and features a zinc finish with a supplementary black lubricant (ZN) to assist with installation and assembly.
