The PEM® BSOS-3.5M3-8 is a low-profile, high-reliability blind threaded standoff designed to create secure, moderate clearance gaps inside thin sheet metal assemblies. Utilizing a robust self-clinching design, the fastener is permanently integrated into a properly sized round hole with a standard squeezing force, eliminating the need for welding or loose hardware. Its blind-threaded closed cavity keeps the reverse side of the host metal panel completely flush and unmarred, ensuring an unbroken, clean exterior surface while sealing the internal thread from dust and environmental contaminants. Fabricated from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, it offers excellent mechanical strength and superior corrosion resistance, making it perfect for compact medical instruments, handheld electronics, and telecom server enclosures.
Permanent Self-Clinching Fit: Cold-flows panel material around the shank for exceptional pushout and torque-out resistance without the thermal distortion of welding.
