CFHC-832-6 - Concealed-Head Stud by PennEngineering ® (PEM ® )

These concealed-head studs are engineered to provide high-strength, permanent mounting within thin metal panels by securing the fastener head inside a blind, milled hole. When installed using standard press compression, the displaced sheet material flows smoothly into the undercut, allowing the stud to reliably handle substantial loads. Because the head is locked completely inside the panel thickness, the side opposite the installation remains entirely smooth, unmarred, and flawlessly sealed against air, liquid, dust, and gases.

Concealed-Head Design: Installs into a blind, milled hole so the reverse side of the sheet remains completely smooth, flush, and unblemished.

Environmental Sealing: Leaves the external face of the panel fully closed and untouched, preventing leakage or infiltration of air, liquid, and dust.

High Load Capacity: Employs a self-clinching undercut that locks under press compression to successfully support high pull-out and torque loads.

Streamlined Assembly: Easily pressed into place using any standard press equipped with a solid punch and a hollow anvil.
