The PEM® CSOS-M4-8 is a precision-engineered concealed-head self-clinching standoff designed to create permanent, secure metric internal threads in thin metal sheets. Formed from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, this metric-threaded fastener delivers excellent physical durability and robust corrosion protection, making it perfect for high-reliability medical devices, consumer electronics, and defense enclosures. Because the fastener head installs directly into a blind, milled hole, the side of the host panel opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarred. When integrated using standard parallel pressing tooling, the surrounding host material cold-flows seamlessly around the standoff's head into its precision undercut, providing immense load capacity while preserving a flawless outer aesthetic.
Concealed-Head Engineering mounts directly into a blind, milled hole to ensure the exterior face of the chassis opposite the installation remains completely smooth and unmarked.
