The PEM® DSOS-440-275 is a high-performance close-to-edge self-clinching standoff designed to establish permanent internal threads and precise component spacing in ultra-dense, thin sheet metal applications. Manufactured from premium 300 Series Stainless Steel, this unified-threaded hardware combines superior physical strength with excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Engineered with a highly specialized, compact profile, it allows for seamless installation much closer to the edge of a host panel than standard self-clinching standoffs without causing the sheet margin to bulge or distort. When integrated using standard parallel squeezing force, its knurled design guides the host material to cold-flow into its precision undercut, ensuring exceptional pushout and torque-out resistance while preserving a clean, flush profile on the opposite side of the sheet.
Close-to-Edge Geometry allows for flawless placement exceptionally near panel borders without causing the margin of the thin host sheet to buckle or warp.
300 Series Stainless Steel Material provides heavy-duty structural longevity paired with dependable, long-lasting defense against localized corrosion.
High-Strength Self-Clinching Infiltration utilizes a reliable cold-flow attachment method that permanently locks the standoff into place with immense torque-out resistance.
